Specifying groups of individuals

Open the Specify Individuals tool. The original imported dataset should be selected by default, since it is the most recent one in gd_snp format. We want to run this tool four times, to specify the members of four different groups or "populations" in the dataset. For the first run, mark the boxes for individuals E1–E5 and enter the label "E1-5"; then click Execute. The label will be used for the name of the resulting dataset, and also by other tools.

For the second run, select F2 and label this group "F2". Repeat for F3–F5 (labeled "F3-5"), and for S1–S3 (labeled "S1-3"). Note that we are skipping F1, since we don't plan to include that individual in the next PCA run.
