Results from using the pedigree information and genomes

As the blue arrow indicates we have greatly filtered the number of SNPs from over three million to under thirty thousand. There are still too many to investigate each one individually. If you have more siblings or relatives the previous steps could be repeated for each. For this example we are going to move on to other methods of filtering.

To view the results so far click the eye icon (red arrow) and the results will display in the center panel. To view them easier click the arrow in the bottom corner (red arrow) to temporarily hide the tool panel giving more room for the results. To unhide the tool panel click the arrow again. The disease SNPs are all still in this filtered set, as we planned when concatenating the datasets they show up as the first three SNPs.
