1. We are members of the Center for Comparative Genomics and Bioinformatics (together with several faculty from BMB, Statistics, and CSE) and we work closely with its other members (with Francesca Chiaromonte from the Department of Statistics in particular). |
2. We collaborate with Kristin Eckert (Department of Pathology, Penn State Medical School at Hershey) to test our computational microsatellite mutation models in experimental systems. |
3. With Laura Carrel (Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Penn State Medical School at Hershey), we are investigating X chromosome inactivation. |
4. With Oliver Ryder (San Diego Zoological Society), we study conservation genetics of Przewalski’s horse (Lau et al. 2009). |
